Duties:

  • Manages a group of individuals with Customer Service job responsibilities
  • Responsible for training Customer Service Representatives and evaluation of their performance
  • Leads the daily Customer Service Team Meeting
  • Implements or improves Customer Service work processes (e.g., Request For Quotations process)
  • Responsible for creating Blanket pricing for strategic customers when price adjustments occur
  • Acts as focal point for Accounting System issues
  • Manages receivables for GM, Ford and Chrysler
  • Acts as local subject matter expert for web-based customer interfaces
  • Manages the entire order life-cycle with a customer
  • Utilizes phones, e-mail and web-based customer systems to respond to customer requests/orders/problems or issues
  • Provides price quotations for customers
  • Enters orders into company accounting system software
  • Provides customers with basic product and service information
  • Manages customer accounts by recording account information in accounting software database
  • Researches billing issues as needed
  • Recommends potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs and trends
  • Recommend process improvements
  • Prepares product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Skills:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, ability to learn server access and data entry into accounting software
  • Duties require excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Minimum educational requirement for this position is a Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field or experience with leading others and improving processes
